The long-standing hip Belltown club called the Vogue had live music once a week, a woman
named Claudia booked the nights and managed a few local bands as well.
It was usually just a dance club, but they brought in a stage and a modified PA in
specifically for that night.
This was the first time I became aware of the new trend of dance clubs, which was to let a band play early, clear the band and stage and then roll into the normal dance music night. This would become standard in later years.
