The Life was starting to come onto the scene. I had first met Jimm McIver a few years previous when
I had produced a couple songs for his high school band The MP's. He had a great voice. Their guitar player Tony
Bortko was an amazing player, and he and our guitar player
Greg had done a stint and toured together in an incarnation of the metal band TKO.
