Duffy Bishop and the Rhythm Dogs had been around on the Seattle scene as long as us in our
various lineups. They did R & B fronted by the inimitable and charismatic Duffy Bishop. Our bands were
not an obvious lineup match -- no one would have thought we should do a bill together -- but we dug them and they
liked us -- and both bands were trying to widen out. We did this Christmas party together.
