We were always trying to branch out and get new rooms to play. Community World Theatre was a funky old theatre in
Tacoma that had started promoting shows.
The tragedy of this gig was that some asshole punk stabbed our light
man Derrick in the back doorway.
Not a reasonable assault just some friggin' nutcase. Not super deep cuts, thankfully, but quite a few little knife
cuts to his back and enough to send him to Emergency and wreck our night. He recovered but needless to say
it was disturbing to him and us both. Derrick was a great enthusiastic force of energy with us and it was very unfortunate.
