KCMU Benefit 1980s Seattle rock

At that time, KCMU was the alternative station on the University of Washington Campus. Jonathon Poneman, who would later partner to form Sub Pop, did a local music show called Audioasis. He put together this weeklong benfit for KCMU at the Rainbow Tavern. You can see two generations of original bands here, us being part of an older rock generation along with Red Dress and Life In General, the Walkabouts and the Young Fresh Fellows. And the newer bands coming on the scene like Vexed and Soundgarden.
